I have written a Java application (the “Ranked-Pairs Workbench”) to demonstrate the Ranked-Pairs system with varying sets of data, as well as to allow you to contrast and compare the outcomes vs FPTP and IRV with your own data.
The Ranked-Pairs Workbench application is available as an executable Java file, here:
Download the Condorcet/Ranked-Pairs Workbench application
- Executable JAR file.
- Choose “Save File” when prompted.
- Double click on the saved file to run it. (Requires Java JRE 7+)
On Microsoft Windows 7 (and later) systems, once the JRE is installed you can run the workbench application from the JAR simply by “double-clicking” its icon on your desktop.- In order to run this, the Java Runtime Engine (JRE) must be installed on your computer. If you need to install Java: Install Java JRE
